1.2 What personal information does Minimum Viable X collect?
This blog writer tries everything he can NOT to collect any kind of personal information. But because this is a blog about product management which revolves around knowing your users, it contains some 3rd party services to analyze the usage of the website to provide insight on read times, habits, motivations etc. of the readers. Below is a full list of all the services that are used to provide this experience to you.
1.2.1 Google services used in general
In general whenever you use use services provided with Google's tools, some data is always stored. Since this blog uses a lot of Google services (Blogger, Analytics) that can not be controlled by the site a author, you should understand the possibilities of controlling your own data through Google's tools. 1.2.2 Blogger
Blogger is a Google service that provides the basic platform for this service. Minimum Viable X is adhering to Google's advice on GDPR compliance and shows the cookie notification to all users from EU whenever they come to the website, whether or not using all Google services included. You can also review the "Google's Cookie notification in EU countries" page to see more.
Blogger collects some statistics straight away, these include: count of page views (daily,monthly..), country of traffic (count) and traffic source (from what page the traffic originated). These do not include any personal or sensitive information and can not be connected to any individual. You're only a grey mass for the blog administration :)

1.2.3 AdSense or other personalized advertisement
Personally the writer of the blog hates ads and even personalized ads. Google privacy policy would cover the use of AdSense, but your privacy matters more. So, no data is gathered for advertisement purposes.
1.2.4 Marketing and newsletters
Currently no newsletters are included, so no need to get worried about your email-address going in the wrong hands. If the decision is made of newsletter, it will provide easy unsubscription also.
1.2.5 Traffic analytics with Google Analytics
Yes, We do it. We analyze traffic and user behaviour on website to provide better content and target the provided content to the right audience - but we do it as anonymously as possible, so the most personal thing about your visit is anonymized IP address. Normally your IP address which is a network device's unique ID, tells us exactly on what device you're using this site. When we anonymize it, it only tells us from what country you are using it and the information can't be connected to your devices. The anonymization is done by shortening the last four digits of an IP-address, putting individuals into a bigger gray mass and protecting your privacy.
Google analytics offers the use of pseudonymized User-ID to target users more efficiently between different devices (to see anonymous user based data). Minimum Viable X doesn't use this feature.
This website doesn't give permissions in Google analytics (where permissions are asked) for Google to use the collected data for improving Google products or services, technical support, marketing experts or sales experts to . All provided selections for data usage in analytics are done in the favor of the visitor so no "hidden data" is allowed for reuse by service provider.
1.2.6 Visitor behaviour tracking with HotJar
This website monitors the usability to provide better user experience and better content to the visitors. Tool used is HotJar. HotJar is used to create heatmaps and anonymous recordings of website use. All HotJar data is stored inside EU, in Ireland. In HotJar visitors are assigned an unique user identifier so that personal information isn't needed. IP-addresses are always suppressed into three first octets to determine the geographic location of the visitor. Upon recordings all keystroke data on all input fields are suppressed so that no data leaks are possible.
HotJar has done their GDPR good and you can read more about the data safety, privacy & security from their website article.
1.3 Principles of processing the usage data
All data is sacred and is processed only by the author of this website. All automatically collected data is also pseudonymized and generalized so that they cannot be be connected to persons or devices. If possible, automaticallyy gathered data is saved only for maximum of 12 months. Since this website uses 3rd party applications (blogger, google analytics...) author can provide you some insight on how to act on this website and with according services to make your information more private.
